How the Daily Interview SMS workflow works
How Doxlair sends a secure text prompt to the assigned Project Manager and turns the field interview into a Daily Log workflow.
What happens on a scheduled workday
- 1Doxlair checks the project's effective Daily Interview schedule, timezone, work calendar, weekends, and holidays.
- 2If the project is eligible, Doxlair sends one transactional SMS to the currently assigned Project Manager.
- 3The text contains a secure Daily Interview link. The Project Manager opens the link on their phone and answers the field questions.
- 4Doxlair structures the answers into the Daily Log workflow for review.
- 5Possible change-order signals are advisory only. A person must review them before anything becomes a change order.
What Doxlair records
The automatic-send history records whether a prompt was scheduled, pending, sent, delivered, failed, or skipped. When a prompt is skipped, Doxlair records the reason so the office can tell whether the cause was a holiday, finalized Daily Log, missing Project Manager, SMS setup problem, or another safeguard.
SMS is transactional
Daily Interview messages are transactional project-workflow messages, not marketing texts. The Project Manager must have a verified mobile number and must opt in to SMS before Doxlair can send the prompt.
