Why members cannot see some buttons or tabs
A reference for which app areas are hidden or restricted for Members: Templates, Scope of Work, New CO, schedule editing, billing, and Team.
Hidden or restricted for Members
- 1Templates — hidden entirely for Members.
- 2Scope of Work — view restricted; only Admins and Project Managers can access it.
- 3New Change Order — Members cannot create or edit change orders.
- 4Schedule editing controls — Members can view the schedule but not edit tasks, dependencies, or the work calendar.
- 5Billing — Members cannot view or manage billing and plan settings.
- 6Team tab — hidden for Members; only Global Admins and Admins manage the team.
Why this matters
These restrictions are enforced both in the interface and on the server, so they're consistent no matter how a Member navigates the app. If a Member needs broader access, a Global Admin can change their role from Settings → Team.
