How to upload a Scope of Work
Upload a .txt, .pdf, or .docx Scope of Work document, review the extracted text, and save it as your project baseline.
Who can do this
Admins and Project Managers can upload a Scope of Work.
Steps
- 1Open the project and go to the Scope of Work tab.
- 2Click Upload Scope of Work.
- 3Choose a .txt, .pdf, or .docx file from your computer.
- 4Wait for Doxlair to extract the text from the document.
- 5Review the extracted text for accuracy — formatting from PDFs and Word docs can sometimes shift.
- 6Click Save to set it as the project's scope baseline.
Tips
If the extracted text looks garbled or incomplete (common with scanned PDFs), use the paste option instead and clean up the text manually.
